Have you talked to your Dr. about PRK laser adjustments to your transplanted cornea? Astigmatism could be your main issue. A certain threshold of healing is required of course.

Glad you are doing ok. Are you wearing glasses or contacts on the kc eye? Are you able to drive at night? I'm trying to decide on the surgery and have few to talk with about it.

How are things going? It seems you had to wait so long before getting glasses or contacts. Was that because you didn't want to have to keep correcting the prescription?

Thank you for posting again. I am learning a great deal from you on this as I continue to be refitted and refitted for different shapes of semi scleral lenses. Good days and bad. I continue to wonder if I should just go through with the graft plan. Going to a new doctor for a second opinion next week.

The eye is looking pretty good for 7 weeks did you have a full thickness cornea transplant? Also, thought I would mention that the eyebank that your cornea came from,is able to get communication to the donor family that has lost their love one and given you a great gift. Some people chose to send a card or a letter some don't but in my experience it has been very helpful. Best of luck with your recovery!
